Becoming Clarksville

Celebrating a community’s history while pondering its future.
Museum
Becoming Clarksville: Honoring Legacies of Leadership is a permanent exhibit in the Customs House Museum & Cultural Center in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Relative Scale created two interactive experiences that share the stories of the men and women who have made a positive and lasting impact on this community, prompting guests to consider what contributions they could make to ensure a prosperous future for their city.

The Clarksville Forum is a multi-touch interactive table where up to four guests at a time explore topics shaping Clarksville’s future. They choose questions on city planning, healthcare, traffic, and job growth, “like” ideas, share opinions, and answer polls. The experience reinforces the museum’s role as a hub for civic dialogue.

The Clarksville Jaycees Legacy interactive invites guests to test their knowledge of Jaycees history in a fun, fast-paced trivia game, or explore the history of this civic organization through an interactive timeline.
